Biography
Maurice ‘Mo’ Elliott formed Fayettechill in 2009. Maurice grew up in Dallas, Texas but came to Fayetteville to study at the University of Arkansas. He loved the outdoor life of the Arkansas Ozarks so much that he started a company around it. He started Fayettechill while he was still in college. He hired his friends to work with him. Now he gets to work with his best friends doing something they all love.
Fayettechill is now a million-dollar business that sells products in 16 states (as of 2018). They create Ozark Mountain inspired clothes for nature lovers around the world. Fayettechill wants people to enjoy the relaxation that comes from being in nature. Fayettechill strives to produce environmentally friendly clothing apparel. They say that they make “…goods for the woods that are good for the woods!”
Fayettechill gives back to local groups that protect our natural environment. They use money from Fayettechill sales to support the Buffalo River Foundation, Arkansas Climbers Coalition, Ozark Offroad Cyclists, and Trout Unlimited.
